Anupamaa SPOILER ALERT 19 January 2023: Baa Slaps Pakhi After She Throws A Tantrum About Not Letting Ishani Meet Adhik; Anu Meets Deepu
Star Plus’ television serial Anupamaa has been raking in all the love from audiences ever since it started airing in 2020. Starring Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna, Aurra Bhatnagar, Sudhanshu Pandey, and others, the show's makers recently introduced a 5-year leap, which has left the fans with mixed reactions. Today’s episode starts with Tapish telling Dimpy not to worry and that they will find Ishani. Pakhi questions Dimpy about Ishani’s whereabouts and Tapish reminds her that taking care of her daughter is her responsibility. Pakhi tells him that Dimpy was taking care of all the kids. Baa asks them to search for Ishani first. Adhik comes there with Ishani in his arms. 

Back in America, Beeji brings Anupamaa to her house for the festival of Lohri and introduces her to her guests. Beeji encourages Anu to get a hair extension like other ladies are doing. Once Tapish and Dimpy send the kids inside, Vanraj questions Adhik. He tells Adhik that he came to meet his daughter Ishani, not his ex-wife Pakhi. Adhik tells Vanraj how even he knows a father can go to any lengths for his daughter. Adhik tries to reason with Vanraj and tells him not to be the villain. He asks Vanraj why despite sending the divorce alimony every month and being allowed to meet his daughter once a month, why they do not allow him to meet his daughter. Adhik tells Vanraj that he might be crying alone when he misses Samar and Paritosh, but he pleads for his daughter in front of everyone. Pakhi demands that Adhik leave now that he has met Ishani. Anu walks about playing with her hair extension when she hits someone with it by mistake. Beeji introduces the guy as Deepu, her younger son and Yashpal’s brother. As Pakhi threatens to file a case against Adhik, he tells her that even he will go to court. Tapish stands up for Adhik and tells the Shahs that they are doing wrong with him. Vanraj asks him to stay out of their family matter. As Vanraj asks Adhik to leave, the latter tells them that he will show girls like Pakhi what a father can do for their daughters. Beeji introduces Deepu aka Yashdeep and states he will be her boss for a few days as Yashpal has gone out. Anu and Deepu bond a bit. On the other hand, Kinjal asks Toshu how he could have ignored his own mother. She starts worrying about Anu. Anuj recalls Aadhya’s words. He looks at Anu’s photo and states that he couldn’t hate her even though he left the country. He thinks about how he wasn’t able to love Shruti as she loves him. As the episode comes to an end Pakhi throws a tantrum about Adhik meeting Ishani. Frustrated with her granddaughter, Baa slaps Pakhi and tells Vanraj that the problem lies in his daughter and not Adhik. Pakhi tells Vanraj that if Adhik is allowed to meet Ishani then she will end her life.

In the upcoming episode of the serial, Anuj calls Devika in India to know about Anu’s whereabouts, Aadhya looks in the restaurant to find Anu, but as she stumbles, the latter rushes to save her from falling.
